Thomas Barnowski is the Director of Corporate and Public Safety Education at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. During his seventeen years with the College, Tom has written and delivered over 200 health and safety training programs. He is a PA State Fire Academy accredited fire / rescue suppression instructor and has served on a number of Commonwealth curriculum committees. Tom has been a firefighter for Bushkill Township, PA for over three decades and is currently serving as its municipal emergency management coordinator. He is an OSHA Outreach instructor trainer and is qualified to teach OSHA Education Center courses. His credentials include an AA in Emergency Services Technology from Northampton Community College, a BS in Public Safety Management from Franklin University and a Master of Science in Safety, Security and Emergency Management from Eastern Kentucky University. Before joining the College, Tom owned and operated a contracting business for 26 years.
